What we do each month
Here’s a typical Full Service season in the Salt Lake and Utah County area. Exact timing moves with the weather each year.
- March — Spring cleanup; first mow late in the month as the grass wakes up
- April — Weekly mowing begins; dethatching; sprinkler start-up; fertilizer & weed control, round 1
- May — Fertilizer & weed control, round 2; sprinkler adjustments begin
- June–July — Fertilizer & weed control, round 3; sprinkler timers adjusted for summer heat
- August — Mowing, trimming and edging; sprinkler checks and adjustments
- September — Fertilizer & weed control, round 4; core aeration, overseeding and top dressing (mid to late month)
- October — Last weekly mows; sprinkler blowout late in the month before the hard freeze
- November — Fall cleanup: leaves, beds and tree and shrub pruning
Why Full Service works better
- One crew, one call. The same team mows, runs your sprinklers and treats your lawn, so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Timed to Utah weather. Start-up, fertilizer, aeration and blowout are scheduled around soil and air temperatures, not a fixed calendar.
- Sprinklers and lawn together. We see dry spots and broken heads during weekly visits and fix them before the grass suffers.
- A professional-grade fertilizer program built for Utah’s alkaline soil and summer heat.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between Essential and Full Service?
Essential covers weekly lawn care: mowing, trimming, edging, blowing and haul-off, about 28 visits from April through October. Full Service adds sprinkler start-up, timer and head adjustments through summer, and fall blowout, a 4-step fertilizer and weed control program, dethatching, aeration, overseeding and top dressing, and spring and fall cleanups with tree and shrub pruning. Sprinkler repairs are quoted as needed (typically billed separately).
How much does a lawn care plan cost?
Every yard is different, so we quote each property for free after a quick look at the lawn size, sprinklers and beds. Call (801) 633-4871 for a free quote.
Can I add pest control or weed control for my planter beds?
Yes. Either plan can add pest and disease control (grubs, insects, fungus and rodents), pre- and post-emergent and weeding for planter beds, and tree and shrub fertilization.
When does the season start and end?
Spring cleanup starts in March, and weekly mowing runs April through October. Sprinklers are blown out in late October, and the season wraps up with fall cleanup in November.
Why is Full Service better than hiring separate companies?
One crew sees your lawn every week, so sprinkler problems, dry spots, weeds and disease get caught early. Fertilizer, watering and aeration are all timed together to Utah weather instead of three companies working on three schedules.
Do you blow out sprinklers if I'm on the Essential plan?
Yes, as a separate service. Full Service includes start-up and blowout, so you never have to remember to schedule them.
What areas do you serve?
Bluffdale, Riverton, Herriman, South Jordan, Lehi, Saratoga Springs and nearby cities in the southern Salt Lake Valley and northern Utah County.
